Vends Projet Eagle-Offenhauser Ex Patrick Racing.
De 1972 à 1976, Dan Gurney et sa Eagle alimentée par le moteur 4 cylindres Offenhauser, était le fabricant dominant dans Indycar Racing. Cette voiture appartenait à l’origine à Patrick Racing et a été conduite par Wally Dallenbach. Wally a été embauché en 1973 pour conduire le *40 remplacement. Il a continué à gagner 3 courses cette année-là, y compris la Californie 500 à la Ontario Motor Speedway.
Cette Eagle est un projet de restauration fait à environ 80-90 %. Le moteur n’est pas complet. Une boite Hewland LG neuve est incluse avec la voiture.

From 1972 to 1976 Dan Gurney’s AAR Eagles powered by the 4 cylinder Offenhauser engine were the dominant manufacturer in Indycar racing. This was by most accounts their last great Indycar as well. This car was originally owned by Patrick Racing and driven by Wally Dallenbach. Wally was hired in 1973 to drive the #40 replacing the late Swede Savage. He went on to win 3 races that year, including the California 500 at Ontario Motor Speedway.

This Eagle is a restoration project. About 80-90% of it is there. The engine is not complete. A brand new Hewland LG gearbox main case comes with the car.
